Buying Enviromental Pet Products

Labrador Retriever Blog | December 7th, 2008

We were at one of the box stores yesterday buying some plumbing supplies and I noticed how many displays there were for environmentally friendly items. There was everything from mold killers, to cleaning products and even moth traps for around the house. It was refreshing to see. Now we don't have to subject ourselves and our pets to so many pesticides and chemicals as we have had to in the past. That's good news for our four legged friends and our families. Keeping both safe and healthy is obvioulsy a priority for all of us. If we don't have to use chemicals and pesticides we no longer have to. Next time you are in a store check out their green items and see if you can replace something you are using in the home such as laundry detergent or garden sprays.

Getting Insurance Quotes

Labrador Retriever Blog | December 6th, 2008

If you think getting pet insurance quotes, rates and finding a good company then try looking for term life insurance quotes. I have a friend that wanted me to help him look through the internet at some life insurance rates. Luckily there are some good websites out there that you can get free quotes on and look over different rates and policies. Otherwise it would be a nightmare. The same is probably true for pet insurance. I know how confusing this can be.

Keeping Your Dog Off of the Furniture

Labrador Retriever Blog | December 3rd, 2008

From time to time I still see people complaining about their labrador retrievers or their pets ruining their furniture. I never have much to say but think about it, is it the pets fault or your fault? If you are going to give your dog access to your furniture then you are going to have it covered in dog hair. It’s a simple as that. If you have gone out and bought some fancy Moroccan furniture and then you let your dog all over it then who is to blame? You are.

We were the same way for awhile. We would leave our dog alone in the living room while we went out and then he would be all over the couch. Well we were to blame because we didn’t properly train him to stay off of the furniture or we did nothing to stop him because we left him with full access to the couch.

If you want to save your Moroccan furniture then I would suggest that when you go out you leave your dog in another room in the house or block off the room with the furniture that you want to save. If you can’t do that then you can put down an old blanket over the furniture while you are out. Or you can look into training your dog not to get on the couch which is always easier said then done.
