3 month old labrador Retriever Puppy doing tricks
Labrador Retriever Blog | January 18th, 2010
For one stop site training Videos go to www.Focusdog.com This is my new puppy Maya, she is 3 months old born May 5 this year. I have been clicker training her for about 9 days and we’ve had her for about 14 days total. We use the harness for walking her and the bell to notice when she stops so we don’t yank her head off, the harness has worked a lot better then a regular collar when we go on walks.

She’s adorable. My black Lab is right about the same age that yours is now. Born in October 2007. They are such a joy to have, I love them so much.
my dog is called marley to ahahha sweet
I have a 9 week old lab… very easy to train. But what is amazing, is his ability to figure things out on his own..
my dog just lays there and sleeps… LOL
my puppy was 5 weeks old when i got her she is a staff and after three days of using the clicker (mine dispenses the treat when you click) she could sit give her paw and spin around. ive seen labs do tricks too at 5 weeks, and it only takes ten minutes three times a day to do this, i was so amazed!!
To mark the desired behavior. The dog starts making positive associations with the clicker; every time he/she does “something” (down, sit, etc.) he/she gets a click and a treat, so, in his/her mind what’s she’s doing must be good and starts responding to it. It’s an excelent form of training.
wow she is doing so good so far! so far my lab pup can sit, stay, come and heel.
cute=)!!!!
do you think this will work with my son, he’s two years old. and if a dog can do it, i think humans can too right? has anyone here ever clicker trained their son??
omg i hate fucking jelous people…u probably don’t even have a dog
She’s sooooo adorable! I used to have a black lab and when he was little, he looked like her!

Using a clicker is in my opinion the best way of training a dog and getting fast and solid results. But it has to be used in the right way. The guy in this video is slighty off on the clicks. You click in the very moment the dog does the right thing. The treat follows. Dog knows a click means treat, cos you start by teaching her that. Lots of good books on the subject. You can teach your dog amazing things with the clicker.
She is adorable! What a smart puppy, she obviously loves you. Would you consider training other puppies, lots of owners just don’t have that kind of patience and persistence, we would gladly pay a good person to do this.
definitly, a clicker makes an unusal soud that dog dont hear everywhere, which makes it more uniuqe. A clicker is soposed to be used when a dog needs to be praised, the clicker goes on, and its a sound of reward.
Cool! Check out Mocha’s chocolate pups on my channel!
does anyone reccomend getting a clicker?
