A singing chocolate labrador retriever
Labrador Retriever Blog | February 4th, 2010
This dog is 13 years old and loves to sing. Maybe we can lean how to communicate with animals through musing: this dog is certainly trying, Sheet music used from the movies Amelie: Comptine d’un autre été L’après midi, The Piano, Mozart etc. Ignore the attempt at playing the piano: this is about the singing dog.

That’s one pretty furry chubby lab, it kinda looks like a brown version of the golden retriever.
She did not hear that well she was old, she had problems with walking this was the one things she could do with excitement
It annoyed everyone in the house, but I always told her she was singing beautifully …
Aww, that chocolate lab almost looks like mine! I just love chocolate labs! I also have a beagle-chocolate lab mix, and it looks like a puppy version of our chocolate lab!
is it me or does she look a bit stressed?maybe it’s anxiety? like some dogs who howl at policecar sirens or ambulances.
I’ve fallen in love! And thought she’s so old. I’m afraid my dog being so old too, I don’t want him to leave me >:
How did you teach her? I’ve tried thousand times to teach my Ebbie singing (white lab), and he doesn’t seem interested (: alhthough he loves barking.
translation: STOP PLAYING I WANNA SLEEP!! cute dog though!
I have chocolate lab. too…
I love those chocolate labs, you are so lucky to have a sweet dog like this. I really wish I had a lab..
this dog loves mozart!
Awesome!!
and not to worry about your piano playing! I wish I could play HALF as good as you.
Yeah it is quite consistent and the funny thing is that he moves its tail to the rhythm. It is really funny. But she walks around a lot and I have to put the camera down to record. And it is also funny to she what types of music she responds to.
Near the end of the Mozart, most of the barks seemed to coincide with the beat of the music. If the dog is listening and recognising rhythm, that is really remarkable. Perhaps you could try exploring this further…
that’s beautiful…sounds sad. interesting.
Yeah I really love her; she is a genuine friend!
I love the music and your dog is adorable!
Hi! Awesome dog! He has soooooo much talent!
