Ellie the yellow Labrador retriever, a beloved member of the Telluride Ski Patrol, was put down this week due to cancer in her lungs. She was 9 years old. More sad news. Ellie, aka Elvira Wunderlick, ski patrollers Gary and Kim Richard’s avalanche dog had to be put down yesterday. She belonged to Gary and Kim Richard, longtime patrollers.
