Day 33 – Mocha’s Chocolate Labrador Puppies on Christmas Eve
In this video you can see how much the puppies are playing! Despite being off from work today, It was a long day! Four of the puppies went home to their new families today! (Reese, Knox, Remy and Ms Purple). This Saturday, we will puppy-sit Remy so she can visit Dr Barker next Thursday with the rest. I think you will all enjoy the video. Thanks for watching! MERRY CHRISTMAS !!!!!! btw, Mocha is doing well. We have her outside when any puppy goes home. We will have at least one puppy until January 11th. At least 2 through January 4th. She has been paying close attention lately (since we took the pups to Dr Barker). I am not sure she has noticed yet, but I am sure in a week, she will look around for them a bit. We will smother her with attention and lots of exercise! It is hard to believe, but by the time you can watch this, the puppies will be one day of 5 weeks old! We gave them their 3rd dose of Strongid-T dewormer today. Here are their weights as of earlier today. Knox 8lbs 8 1/8oz Remy 7lbs 12 3/4 oz Reese 7lbs 9 1/4 oz Ms Purple 7lbs 5 1/8oz (Maybe Pebbles) Mr Brown 7lbs 4 1/8oz Ivey 6lbs 13 1/2oz Clementine 6lbs 5 3/8oz Miley 6lbs 11 1/4oz Sawyer 6lbs 6 3/4oz Mr Camo 5lbs 14 1/8oz (He’s gaining on them!)

SO CUTE!!!
i see well i’m sure you did a good thing
i can see how you care for the pups and Mocha.
thanks
Ultimately it was my decision, so I take full responsibility. I believe I did right by these puppies. I was thinking of the children on Christmas morning, but I wouldn’t have let the puppies go if I thought they were not ready enough. They all have great families! Remy will be back to us tomorrow.
Jaline, Merry Christmas to and your Mocha too!
i’ve just read many things, and even if it Christmas the people can always bring the kids over and show the puppy.. i’m sure you took it seriously i have no doubts about that! Some people have to think of the puppy’s well being over a holiday some times is what i’m thinking.
hope you are having a great Christmas John and hope Mocha and the puppies who are left behind are having a great day too
Jaline.
Jal, thanks for being the kind of person who speaks up when concerned.
The puppies from Mocha’s first litter, went home at 6 weeks. It is no doubt early for these four puppies. We took the decision very seriously, consulted our veterinarian and made the decision to let them go home early. I will address this in more detail in the comments on my channel page. Thanks, John
i thought it’s not a good thing to let puppies leave their mum before they are at the very least 7weeks old :S ??..
