Checkers is a cheerful, well-socialized one and a half year old yellow female Labrador Retriever who was found in West Covina on April 19th and brought to the Baldwin Park shelter. Weighing sixty-six pounds, this medium energy girl has been trained — she sits on command and charmed us all when she offered her paw to shake! Checkers likes other dogs, and will be a perfect indoor pet for an active family living in a private home.
