The Potsdam Humane Society
The Potsdam Humane Society is located in St Lawrence County in far rural upstate NY. They are the only open door shelter for the county and are in the middle of a capital campaign to increase their size and technology. They are also working at becoming a "No Kill" shelter – a place where all the animals can be safe.
They are a small not-for-profit animal shelter located in Potsdam, NY that serves the Potsdam Community as well as surrounding areas. They strive to serve both residents and animals. Every animal that leaves their shelter is spayed or neutered.
They have a large selection of beautiful cats and dogs. If you ever considered saving a life and are in the area – Please stop by! They love visitors. They hope to continue to reduce this number and continue to place animals in warm and loving homes.
